Singer // Songwriter // Worship Leader

The 2015 debut release, “Til Our Lungs Expire”, from Dave Owens is a fresh look into the Pop/Worship world.  Although only having 6 tracks, this extended ep contains very thought provoking lyrics & melodies that will be stuck in your head for days & weeks to come.

The first single “Praise Your Name” is a medium paced blast of drums, keys and guitars right out of the gate. The song talks about how as Christians we should live our lives to praise the one and only true king, Jesus.  Another stand out track would be “Hallelujah”. This song immediately invites the presence of God into your surrounding.  It takes you on a journey of laying it all down and rising up in strength, knowing the Lord is on your side.

With the Worship music culture taking over our churches, “Til Our Lungs Expire” can offer a collection of new, exciting & fresh songs to fill the atmosphere of corporate & private Worship. This debut release from Dave Owens is sure to have you singing along in no time.

Dave Owens lives in Council Bluffs, Iowa, which is right next to Omaha, Nebraska. I know, I know…you might have to get out a map.  Having been born & raised in this area, Dave has a strong tie to the music community and fellow believers. He is currently a full time Worship leader in Omaha, NE.

Before all this, Dave was in the long running band Names Without Numbers. They released 2 cd’s, traveled heavy and were featured on many national compilations. The most notable is “I’m Your Biggest Fan - Vol 2”, released by Tooth & Nail Records.  Over the years Dave has always been involved in music, ministry, tattoos and motorcycles. He is also the owner of LifeNine Productions, which for over 18 years has been one of the top concert promotion companies in the Omaha, NE area.

All this being said, Dave Owens has a passion for music & ministry. “Til Our Lungs Expire” is a collection of songs written specifically for the church. In a oversaturated market, this debut release brings a new & fresh sound to the table. Say hello to one of your new favorite artists.
